The course is  seven days, run over four  weekends, starting  in Janauary 2020. 

Saturday 11  and Sunday  12 January

Saturday 25   and Sunday 26 January

Saturday 8  and Sunday 9 February

Sunday 23 February

The course fee includes the RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory Pack: the charts, the almanac,  and other learning materials.

This course is for the Day Skipper who is ready for some bigger adventures. Typically you will be sailing longer passages, visiting remoter locations and  experiencing more challenging conditions.  

The shorebased theory course is design to ensure that your Navigation, Seamanship and Safety skills are up to the standards require before undertaking the RYA practical course.

This builds on the knowledge already gained from the RYA Day Skipper theory course, which is a prerequisite before joining the course.

Evening Course starting in October 2020:

The evening course will run over 20 evenings, on a Tuesday, starting  on Tuesday 16  October 2020. The evening start at 7.00 and finish at 9.00pm. The final evening will be March 2021.
